On September 25, the ASEAN Plus Three Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Partnering Conference was held in Nanning. Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Vice Minister of Commerce Li Fei, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Government Lu Xinning, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shaogang, Rotating Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council and President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Oudet Souvannavong attended the conference and delivered speeches.

In order to implement initiatives of the Chinese leaders at the 26th ASEAN Plus Three Summit in September 2023 to build a more stable and smoother regional industrial and supply chain system based on comparative advantage, MOFCOM, together with the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and CCPIT, held the Conference. The Conference provided online partnering services for 3,600 enterprises, including nearly 500 foreign companies. About 400 representatives of governments, chambers of commerce, business associations and enterprises from ASEAN countries, China, Japan, and Korea participated in the onsite events.
